CitiMED Founder and President, Dr. David Robbins is a board certified physician specializing in Neurological Rehabilitation and General Neurology. Dr. Robbins earned a B.A. in Mathematics from the State University of New York in 1986, and his medical doctor degree from the Medical College of Wisconsin in 1992. Returning to his native New York, Dr. Robbins completed his medical internship in Internal Medicine in 1993 at University of Rochester and his residency in Neurology in 1995, thereafter serving as Chief Resident in Neurology through 1996. He completed a Fellowship in Neurophysiology and Neuromuscular Disorders at Tufts University Boston in 1997. Dr. Robbins is licensed to practice medicine in Florida, New York and Massachusetts, and is certified by both the National Board of Medical Examiners and the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology.
Dr. Christopher J. Pham is a board certified physician specializing in Osteopathic Medicine and Surgery. Dr. Pham earned a B.A. in Microbiology from University of Texas at Austin in 1992, and his medical doctor degree in Osteophatic Medicine from Des Moines University Osteophatic Medical Center in 1996. He is certified by the National Board of Osteophatic Medical Examiners.
John Wilkerson, M.D. leads our orthopaedic surgical division. He provides diagnostic and therapeutic services appropriate to the management of orthopaedic conditions, including musculoskeletal trauma. An array of treatment options are available for bone, muscle, and joint injuries including stem cell therapy, PRP injections, rehabilitation, arthroscopic surgery, and minimally invasive surgery. Dr. Wilkerson is very experienced in sports medicine, arthroscopic surgery, and trauma surgery.
Dr. Wilkerson was recruited to the CitiMED Group in January 2014 and is now our Director of Clinical Services. Dr. John Wilkerson is an active Fellow of the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons and the American Board of Orthopaedic Surgery. He graduated medical school and completed his orthopaedic surgery residency from the Medical College of Virginia at Virginia Commonwealth University. In addition, he completed a fellowship in sports medicine at the University of Miami. Furthermore, he has completed several research projects in both orthopaedic surgery and biomechanics and has been published in multiple national peer reviewed medical journals.
Dr. Robert Martinez is a board-certified physician specializing in Radiology, and leads the Radiology Department at CitiMED. Dr. Martinez earned a B.A. in Finance from University of South Florida in 1984, and his medical doctor degree from University of Miami in 1994. He completed a five-year combined residency in Diagnostic Radiology and Nuclear Medicine at University of UM/Jackson Memorial Hospital in 1999, and a fellowship in Musculoskeletal Radiology in 2000. He is licensed in Florida and Minnesota. Dr. Martinez is a Diplomate at the American Board of Radiology and is also certified by the American Board of Nuclear Medicine.
Dr. Nickerson is a board certified physician specializing in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation with a sub-specialty board certification in Pain Medicine. Dr. Nickerson earned his medical doctorate degree from Meharry Medical College, Nashville, Tennessee in 1982. He completed his three-year residency training in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation from the National Rehabilitation Hospital, Washington, DC in 1992. Dr. Nickerson served as Medical Director of the Outpatient Rehabilitation Department, Fibromyalgia and Chronic Pain Program and Inpatient Rehabilitation Department of Our Lady of Lourdes Regional Medical Center in Lafayette, Louisiana. He was the Medical Director of the Chronic Pain Management Program at CedarSinai Medical Center in Los Angeles, California and the President of the National Medical Association, Dr. Joseph Tyler Chapter in Lafayette, Louisiana. Dr. Nickerson is skilled and experienced in the utilization of multiple disciplinary rehabilitation, rational poly-pharmaceutical methodology, and diagnostic/therapeutic interventional procedures for the non-operative management of acute and chronic pain and is a Diplomate of the American Board of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation.
